ABOUT
Naoko Aburaki, born in Tokyo Japan, has been the recipient of prizes in numerous competitions, including First prizes in the solo and concerto categories at the XVI International Competition-Festival "music without limits" in Lithuania, the First prize in the 11th International Music Competition Musile di Piave in Venice Italy. She also received Second Prizes in the following Competitions: 10th Osaka International Competition in Japan , 1st Ischia International Piano Competition in Italy, as well as the prize in the 1st Troisdorf international piano competition in Germany.
Naoko studied at the Rubinstein music academy in Düsseldorf with Prof.Dina Yoffe. After that she completed her Masters Degree under Prof. Nina Tichman at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln. At the Hochschule in Köln she also studied Liedgestaltung with Stefan Irmer and Chamber music with Anthony Spiri. Before that she studied at the Toho Gakuen College Music Department in Tokyo Japan with Takako Takahashi. Additionally she had lessons with Katsurako Mikami, Akira Wakabayashi, Koji Shimoda, Shigeo Neriki, Shinji Ono.
Naoko has appeared at the “Klavier -Festival Ruhr” in Germany, the “International Piano Forum” in Sanok Poland, the “International Festival January Music Nights” in Brest Belarus. She has performed at the Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna , as soloist with orchestras and played solo recitals in London, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Malta, and Japan.
Currently she performs in Europe and has an active teaching career in Düsseldorf.
